Samsung’s Galaxy M series of smartphones is finally getting the attention it hasn’t received in months. The company has teased the new Galaxy M31 through its official Indian website and its due for release on February 25.
The Korean tech giant has revealed some of the specifications for M30’s successor as well. Depending on the region, the Galaxy M31 will either be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC or Samsung’s own Exynos 9611. It will have up to 8GB RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage.
The screen size wasn’t revealed on the website, but it is going to boast FHD+ resolution on top of a SAMOLED display panel. There is also going to be a dot drop notch at the top.
It will have a quad-camera setup in the back in a rectangular cutout similar to what most of Samsung’s recent smartphones are featuring. It will have a 64-megapixel main lens alongside an ultrawide lens, a telephoto lens, and a macro lens for portrait shots.
The phone’s 6000 mAh battery will make sure it lasts at least 3 days of moderate use. There is no word on fast charging yet, but that will likely be revealed alongside the pricing in a week or two.
As mentioned before, the Galaxy M31 is going to debut on February 25.
