The recently concluded, Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2020 at the Lahore Expo Center was a huge hit with multiple auto manufacturers participating at the event and showcasing their products.
One of the participants at the show was Hyundai, which unveiled the all new Elantra and Tuscon. Yesterday, we had a surprise in the form of the 8th-generation Sonata. However, so far there’s no word on when it will be officially available. Unlike other car makers, these are the latest available models also available in the international market.

After a few years of a pretty bland design, the Sonata now comes with a great redesign. The front now has a slightly more aggressive look to it!
The company has kept the details about the interior and features for now. It is expected that more details will be unveiled when the vehicle is ready for sale in the country.
It is powered by a Smartstream 2.5MPI that is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission and will churn out 176hp. It will be a front-wheel-drive featuring multiple modes such as Eco, Sport and Manual.
Not much is known at this front with the company looking to import it as a completely built unit (CBU) in the beginning.
