Pakistan saw 1,581 new coronavirus cases, slightly up from 1,430 cases it reported a day earlier to take its tally to 38,799.
Sindh remained the top impacted province as it reported 817 new cases, while Punjab reported 287 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours. KP, Balochistan and Islamabad recorded 255, 147 and 55 new cases respectively.
Total number of recoveries from infection reached 10,880 with 725 new patients recovering from the virus in past 24 hours.
