Rumors about upcoming RedmiBook have been making rounds on the internet recently. However, the news was only just confirmed by an infamous tipster @ _rogame, who shared details regarding the laptops’ innards on twitter.
The tweet details that the company is working on launching three Ryzen-powered RedmiBook models dubbed RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14S, and RedmiBook 16. Two of the three laptops will be powered by AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series processors topped with Samsung’s PM881 SSDs.
One of the models, most likely RedmiBook 13, will pack the Ryzen 4500U processor accompanied by 512 GB on-board storage, and Windows 10. The hexacore processor will be paired with 16 GB RAM, as per the leak.
While the second model, most probably RedmiBook 14S, will be powered by the octa-core Ryzen 4700U processor paired with 16GB memory and 512GB SSD as standard.
The company only recently launched the RedmiBook 14 and 16 Edition. Both laptops came with Bluetooth SIG certification. Hence, it is very likely that the upcoming models will also come with the same certification.
RedmiBook 13, 14S, and RedmiBook 16 are currently available for pre-order on Jingdong. The details show that the laptops will go on sale by 26th May. However, the company has not confirmed anything yet.
