Xiaomi has finally launched the gaming monitor that was teased a few weeks back. The 27-inch high-refresh-rate gaming monitor is going for crowdfunding right now and will be available for sale soon.
Xiaomi’s new bezel-less monitor has a 27-inch IPS LCD with a 2k screen resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. This is paired with a 1ms response time, 95% of the DCI P3 color gamut, and HDR 400 high dynamic display enhancement. It also has support for TUV low blue light and Adaptive-Sync synchronization.
The display can easily be placed on a table or mounted on a wall thanks to the rotating bracket that comes with the package. It comes with a magnetic cover on the back that makes it easy to disassemble it.
As for connectivity, the monitor has a display port, an HDMI, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a USB 3.0 port. Buyers will also receive a 3-year warranty and after-sales service upon purchase.
This launch is in-line with a previous leak that said that Xiaomi is planning to release three different monitors this year. There is a 24.5-inch gaming monitor coming in September and another 4K monitor planned for November. Some will also be launched under the Redmi brand name.
Considering how some of these are expected to be Redmi monitors, we can also expect them to be cheaper than Xiaomi’s iterations.
The 165Hz 27-inch gaming monitor will go for sale for $310.
