Aamir Liaquat Resigns as a PTI MNA

Renowned media personality and member of the National Assembly, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, has decided to give up his MNA seat. Taking to Twitter, the host-turned-politician said that he admits to being a powerless MNA from Karachi.

Aamir Liaquat said that he will submit his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan in his meeting with the premier. Explaining the reason behind his decision, Aamir Liaquat said that he cannot see the pain of the people from the metropolitan city.

This isn’t the first time he has announced to resign from a position and he has a history of taking blunt decisions. Aamir Liaquat has a knack of staying in the news, both good and bad, and he has done it once again.
