Punjab Govt. Extends E-Transfer Deadline For College Teachers

Punjab government has extended the E-transfer deadline for college teachers all over the province till 27 August.

They can apply for transfer in a transparent way through the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab E-transfer mobile application. It also lets teachers track the progress of their transfer application and receive transfer orders.

HED E-transfer application has been developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).

The application was formally launched earlier this month on Independence Day at Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore. On 10 June, Minister for School Education Punjab Murad Raas officially launched the E-transfer policy.

On the launch of the policy, the minister said that teachers seeking transfers and posting orders had to face numerous problems.

Punjab government introduced a transparent and corruption-free transfer and posting policy to ensure merit and transparency in the transfer and posting of teachers, the minister said.
