Chief Executive Officer (CEO) PIA, Arshad Malik, has directed concerned PIA officials to ensure PIA passengers are accorded with best inflight services.

He expressed hope that passengers would prefer flying with their national flag carrier.

It must be recalled here that the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in June had suspended PIA’s authorization to operate in the EU for the next 6 months following the fake licenses scandal. In July, the UK, following in the footsteps of EASA, had revoked PIA’s operating permit as well.

However, PIA has been wet-leasing HiFly’s aircraft to get around restrictions to repatriate Pakistanis from Europe amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
