Internationally-renowned brands Hanes, Guess, Hugo Boss, and Target have shifted their orders from China to Pakistan, Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Industry Abdul Razzaq Dawood announced through his Twitter page on Thursday.

He said that more and more brands are shifting to Pakistan.
It is a good trend and I am very hopeful that this will continue,” he said adding, “I hope that exporters will capitalize on this opportunity.
Back in July 2020, German luxury fashion brand Hugo Boss had placed its first order of sportswear to a Pakistani company.
Pakistan’s Textile Policy 2020-25 is almost finalized with an export target set at $20.8 billion.
The proposed policy also includes eight objectives spanning from promoting value addition, ensuring profitability of cotton growers, strengthening Pakistan’s expertise in manmade fiber, and prioritizing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for infrastructure, compliance, energy efficiency, quality assurance, and productivity projects.
