South African fast bowler, Wayne Parnell, has been included in the Karachi Kings squad for the Pakistan Super League 2020 playoffs. The left-arm pacer replaces New Zealand’s Mitchell McCleneghan who is unavailable due to isolation restrictions in New Zealand enforced by COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Sohaib Maqsood has been included in the Peshawar Zalmi squad for the playoffs.
Sohaib comes in place of Daren Sammy who will be unable to travel to Pakistan in time for the first Eliminator on 14 November due to logistical constraints.
Joe Denly and Brendan Taylor have replaced Mahmudullah and James Vince in the Multan Sultans squad for the Pakistan Super League 2020 playoffs.
Both Mahmudullah and Vince tested positive for COVID-19 in their pre-departure tests that were conducted in Bangladesh and England, respectively.
England all-rounder, Denly, will join Sultans subject to Covid-19 clearance. Denly has played for Karachi Kings in previous PSL editions. He was also selected by the Sultans for PSL 2019 but could not take part due to national duty.
Zimbabwe wicketkeeper-batsman, Brendan Taylor, has previously played for Lahore Qalandars in the PSL.
