The VC hailed the importance of creating a digital ecosystem for future AD students. He called it a ‘blessing in disguise’ for off-campus students who, instead of submitting Xerox copies of documents, would now be able to file their admission applications through the new E-portal. This also includes exam forms and required document uploads.

Director ITSC, Dr. Zeeshan Bhatti, explained that students seeking admissions in the 60 Sindh University affiliate colleges can now upload required documents and testimonials by logging onto the new E-portal. Focal persons will be nominated at these colleges to facilitate all applicants throughout the registration process. The Director added that the new portal is linked to the offices of the registrar, controller of annual examinations, and general branch for assisting students with their online admission forms.

Meanwhile, the Director remarked on the importance of establishing an online portal for education in this day and age. He added,

This new online e-portal will immensely benefit our students of degree colleges and university’s concerned offices to manage all operations digitally. It will save a huge amount of resources, time, and money.

According to the ITSC, the main features of the E-portal include digital on-boarding of affiliate colleges with enrolled student records, downloadable fee challans, digital enrollment cards, filling exam forms, and seeking exam slips without visiting concerned colleges.
