The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) ratified the Electric Vehicle policy for four wheelers which will prove instrumental in rationalizing costs of purchasing, manufacturing & promoting the use of electric vehicles in Pakistan.
This was revealed by the Minister for Industries & Production Hammad Azhar through his twitter account.
Today, ECC ratified the Electric Vehicle policy for 4 wheelers. It will prove instrumental in rationalising costs of purchasing, manufacturing & promoting use of electric vehicles in Pakistan.
ECC also ratified removal of certain anomalies in Mobile Phones Manufacturing policy.

At first I am not able to afford electric or hybrid vehicle, so I don’t see this as a forward step of any sort. Secondly this is extremely unjust and will only raise our rage to next level. I mean, It would have been better if at first the electricity was being made available to the general public for consumption. What a waste the management of this country is.
