CM Buzdar Goes Into Self-Isolation After Witnessing COVID-19 Symptoms

Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, is reportedly a COVID-suspect and has self-isolated in the CM House, canceling all activities.

However, no confirmation from the Punjab government had come at the time of filing this story. His Focal Person, Azhar Mashwani, said in a tweet that doctors have advised CM Buzdar is unwell and has temporarily given up all political and office engagements.

If the rumors of him being COVID-positive are true, then his entire staff and people he met over the week will have to undergo coronavirus testing.

The chief minister remained quite active over the past week. He attended many government ceremonies and chaired many meetings in the last week.

So far, many politicians including some federal ministers have tested positive for COVID-19. Some of them are Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Saeed Ghani, and Murad Ali Shah. Moreover, several politicians, including former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali, have died due to the virus.
