Sindh Issues Clarification on World Susral Day Holiday Notification

Sindh government has refuted the notification circulating on social media platforms which alleged that the provincial government had declared a public holiday on Monday, 28 December on the occasion of World Susral Day.

In an official statement, the Sindh government termed the notification as fake and announced that affairs of state will go on as usual on 28 December.

Sindh government has also approached the Cyber Crime Wing (CCW) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in this regard.

The provincial government has asked the FIA to trace down the culprits responsible for disseminating the fake notification and book them under the Cyber Crime Act.

It also requested the FIA to remove the fake notification from all social networking platforms as well.
