Here’s Your First Look at Motorola Edge 2021 [Images]

Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to launch two new flagship phones in 2021. One of them powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC is expected to arrive in the market as a G-series smartphone. The other, powered by the latest Snapdragon 888, is expected to be launched under the Motorola Edge lineup.

Official details regarding either of the smartphone are scarce. However recently, computed generated renders of a Motorola smartphone surfaced on Weibo. The renders could be for either of the handsets mentioned above. The renders show a smartphone that borrows a lot of design elements from the previously launched Motorola Edge+.

The first image shows the front of the smartphone with a display that is curved on all sides. The smartphone has a tiny punch hole in the center and appears to have a high screen-to-body ratio, hinting that the handset is a premium flagship device. In the second image, the side view of the display is shown clearly.

The same Weibo source also uploaded a schematic of the smartphone’s back. It shows a rectangle-shaped camera module in the upper half of the back. The camera setup seems to house three or four cameras and an LED flash unit.

Take this information with a grain of salt. The source of these renders has not been authenticated.
