STARZPLAY Enters New Year With A Bang, Exciting New TV Shows For All!

This New Year, STARZPLAY brings its customers three exciting TV shows that will keep the viewers glued to their screens. The first TV show is The Spanish Princess, Season two which is a STARZ Original written by Phillipa Gregory.

The Spanish Princess follows the story of Catherine of Argon, who has her eyes fixed firmly on the throne. The series return continues the story of Queen Catherine and Henry VIII, presiding over the most glamorous court in Europe and beloved by their people.

The second show selected exclusively for TV buffs is PowerBook II: Ghost. This TV show is a spinoff of Power, a show rated high amongst the fans and critics for its acting and unique storyline.

Power is about Omari Hardwick who plays James St. Patrick, a.k.a. Ghost, a man living a treacherous double life, trying to go legit in the nightclub business; but to his dismay keeps getting pulled back into the game. Power has been a critically acclaimed TV show in the US, it starred “50 Cent” Jackson, Joseph Sikora, and Omari Hardwick.

The cherry on the cake for this New Year is the TV show called The Act, an award-winning TV show about the story of a physically ill teenage daughter and the abusive relationship with her mother. The show explores their broken relationship which becomes suffocating for each other and eventually leads to murder.

Watch how the story unfolds in this stranger than fiction anthology which was the reason for Joey King’s nomination at the Primetime Emmy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.
