Engro Fertilizers Records Lowest Urea Sales in 10 Years

Engro Fertilizers (PSX: EFERT) recorded its weakest first-half urea sales in a decade, according to the latest National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC) data.

The company sold 537,000 tons of urea during 1H2026, marking its lowest first-half sales volume in the past 10 years.

According to Topline Securities, the decline was largely attributed to unusually strong push sales in the final quarter of 2025, which encouraged distributors and buyers to purchase fertilizer ahead of time.

As a result, demand slowed considerably during the first six months of 2026.

With lower sales, EFERT’s urea inventory rose sharply to 694,000 tons. This shows the current level of unsold stock during the period.
