As the calendar turns another page to greet the new year, the automakers in Pakistan continue with their “new year new price” ritual. A day after Atlas Honda announced a price increase, Yamaha quickly followed suit and bumped up the prices of their products as well.
Plus, where Honda only bumped up the prices of their bikes by Rs. 3000, Yamaha went for a “double-whammy” and bumped up the prices of their bikes by Rs. 6000. The company has not released any statement to explain the price hike. Following are the new prices that have been mentioned on the official circular issued by Yamaha:
Bikes | Old Price (PKR) | Revised Price (PKR) | Price Increase (PKR) |
YB 125 Z | 157,000 | 163,000 | 6,000 |
YB 125 Z DX | 169,500 | 175,500 | 6,000 |
YBR 125 | 175,000 | 181,000 | 6,000 |
YBR 125 G | 184,000 | 190,000 | 6,000 |
As per the circular shared by the company, the prices shall become effective on January 7, 2021.
Out of all the major bike manufacturers in Pakistan, Yamaha is the second to declare the revised prices for its bikes in this new wave of price hikes. With that said, it’s likely that Pak-Suzuki will also announce the new prices for its bikes soon.
