Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan said that the success of Ehsaas’ “Koyee Bhuka Naa Soyai” (No one should sleep hungry) program would be an exemplary model for the whole world.
The PM presided over a meeting in which the Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Sania Nishter, briefed him about the measures that will be taken for the successful implementation of Ehsaas “Koyee Bhuka Naa Soyai” Program.

Dr. Nishter said that using a coordinated effort, areas that are facing the danger of food shortage will be identified, and meals will be provided through the Ehsaas program.
Imran Khan welcomed the proposals put forward for effective provision of food to deserving people and stressed the need for comprehensive planning to introduce such a system which ensures that there is a direct and easy way to reach the people who are deprived of two-time meals due to economic destitution.

Besides, Dr. Nishter also apprised the PM about the Ehsaas Donor Management System under which the donors would receive the details of expenditures through a digitalized and automated system.
The PM was also informed that this program will be launched by the end of the first quarter of 2021.
