Xiaomi’s offshoot Redmi has launched yet another phone in its Note 9 series dubbed the Redmi Note 9T. The smartphone is a tweaked version of the recently launched Redmi Note 9 5G exclusive to China.
Aesthetically, the smartphone looks exactly like the Redmi Note 9 5G. It is built around a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with 1080p resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 60 Hz refresh rate, contrary to some rumors.
Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset paired with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB onboard storage.
It runs Android 10 based MIUI 12 and is splash-proof like the Redmi Note 9 5G.
At the back, the Redmi Note 9T 5G comes with a triple sensor camera setup with a 48 MP main sensor, 2 MP depth sensor, and 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, it is equipped with a 13 MP camera.
The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that it can provide up to 3 years of continuous use without significant degradation.
Redmi Note 9T 5G is currently available for sale and costs €229 for the base variant.
