Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to Come With a Special 10X Zoom Camera [Leak]

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S21 series tomorrow. Even though we know almost everything there is to know about the upcoming handsets, leaks and rumors are still going strong.

Just a day ahead of its launch, the infamous Ice Universe has revealed some important details about the Samsung Galaxy S21 cameras.

According to the leak, the flagship will come with a 10x zoom camera and will use the best-in-class 1/3.24-inch 10 MP sensor with 1.22µm pixels. The sensor will be topped with an f/4.9 aperture lens supporting OIS and 240mm (10x) periscope telephoto zoom. The most important feature of the system is that it will zoom the images just after two refractions instead of five like other periscope systems do. This will not only add to the details captured but will also preserve the image quality. Other imaging sensors in the system will include a 108 MP sensor with Laser AF, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a telephoto lens. The selfie camera will most likely be a 40 MP shooter.

Specification-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to feature a Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus. It will be powered by Exynos 2100 or Snapdragon 888 depending on the region. The SoC will be topped with 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB onboard storage. The handset is expected to be priced at  €1400.
