The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) now has one window operation facility that offers online clearance of the documents of buildings and plots, with precise timelines to facilitate citizens.
The online services include the approval of maps, the transfer of property, and any other work pertaining to the RDA.
The RDA Chairman, Tariq Mehmood Murtaza, inaugurated the online facility at the One Window Operations Centre (OWOC) in collaboration with the Punjab Information and Technology Board.

He said that the RDA is creating ease for conducting businesses and will boost investments besides generating new opportunities for employment. He added that people will be able to get information about their work from the OWOC.
The chairman remarked that OWOC staff will not have to visit every office for their work tasks but are now only required to submit their applications on the portal and acquire a copy of the decision about their application from the same office.

He also announced that 30 days have been stipulated for the approval of the map and the certificates for the completion of construction, 45 days for a NOC for a change in the land used, and between 60 to 75 days for the permits of the residential societies.
He said, “I am trying to make this online facility process better so that the people don’t have to visit the office, and inconvenience is avoided”.
