Selfie-Focused Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Leaks on Video With Mother of All Camera Bumps

Xiaomi’s Mi 11 flagship went official in December. However, the handset was made globally available only last week. It was expected that at the global launch event, the company will also unveil the Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Pro but it did not happen.

Where the smartphone maker is mum-lipped about the upcoming Mi 11 series handsets, a Filipino YouTuber from the channel The Tech Buff PH recently uploaded a hands-on video of the Mi 11 Ultra revealing some interesting features.

In the video, two variants, i.e., black and white, of the handset are displayed. The handset, like Poco M3, has a huge camera bump that houses three cameras – 50MP primary, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP periscope unit, a flashlight, and a secondary screen that is capable of displaying any app present on the phone but we believe the secondary screen has been designed to allow users take topnotch selfies using the rear cameras.

Both variants in the video feature periscope units with 120X written on the right side, revealing that the phone will be capable of 120X zoom. The main difference between the two is that the white variant has “Ultra Pixel AI Camera” written below 120X, while the black version reads “120X, 12-120mm, 1:1.95-4.1” instead. We are unsure why both units have different text, but that might be because either or both of them are prototypes.
