OnePlus 9E to Come With a 90Hz Display: Rumor

OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 9 in March and there are plenty of rumors circling the upcoming series. We are expecting the series to launch with at least three members including the OnePlus 9E or OnePlus 9 Lite, the OnePlus 9, and the OnePlus 9 Pro.

Recently, a Greek tech blog called Techmaniacs revealed key features of the upcoming series claiming that the OnePlus 9E will come with a 6.5-inch display featuring 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution.

The system will be powered by the Snapdragon 690 chipset topped with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. At the back, the smartphone will be equipped with a 64 MP camera setup complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide snapper. In terms of battery, it will offer a 5000 mAh cell backed by fast charging.

In addition to the leaked specifications, the blog also shared a leaked screenshot of the About Phone section on the vanilla OnePlus 9 that bears the LE2113 model number. The image discloses that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 888 and features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The camera setup consists of a 48 MP main sensor alongside a 50MP lens and a 2MP camera. The latter has most likely been added for the sake of numbers and doesn’t serve an actual purpose. In terms of memory, the vanilla OnePlus 9 also packs 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and boots Android 11.
