RDA Finishes Faizabad Interchange Slip Road Upgrade

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has completed the rehabilitation of the Faizabad Interchange slip road and installed new traffic signboards to improve traffic flow and make travel easier for commuters.

Chairman of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team Punjab and MPA Raja Hanif Advocate inaugurated the completed project and praised the RDA for finishing the work within the approved timeline while maintaining quality standards.

The RDA launched the project on March 6, 2026, with an approved cost of Rs. 15.49 million. The authority has now completed the construction and formally handed over the project.

Raja Hanif said the upgraded slip road and informative signboards would improve traffic management and provide safer and more convenient travel for the public. He added that the Punjab government would continue to prioritize infrastructure projects aimed at improving urban transport and public services across Rawalpindi.
