Nubia’s latest gaming phone, the Red Magic 6, became official in China earlier this month. The series is now set to go global on April 6, but the international audience will only be getting one color and memory option initially.
The series includes the Red Magic 6 and the 6 Pro, both of which are mostly identical. The two phones are powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC and come with 6.8-inch AMOLED screens. Both of them have gamer aesthetics and physical shoulder buttons which is common for gaming phones.
The base Red Magic 6 has 12GB RAM and 128GB of storage, but the Pro model goes up to 16GB RAM.

Another key difference between the two devices is that the base model comes with a glass back, whereas the Red Magic 6 Pro features Aviation-grade aluminum on the rear panel. The difference can be seen in the image above.
The Red Magic 6 series will become available for pre-order on April 9, and actual sales will kick off a week later on April 15. The base Red Magic 6 will be available in its Eclipse Black color option for $599, while the Red Magic 6 Pro will come in its Moon Silver variant for $699.
