Samsung to Launch New Foldables in Q3 and S21 FE in Q4 2021: Report

It appears that Samsung is not canceling the Note lineup after all and is only just delaying it in the wake of the chip shortage. Not just that, but the foldable lineup is also expected to be delayed this year according to a report from HMC Securities.

The senior vice president of HMC Securities has said that the chip supply shortage will affect a number of different lineups from Samsung. It is expected to impact the upcoming foldables, a number of mid-range smartphones, and even some laptops. The auto industry is also ill-affected by this global shortage, let alone the state of the GPU market.

The Galaxy A52 and A72 have just become official recently, but according to a report from SamMobile, the company’s foldables will get delayed to Q3 this year. This includes the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 2, but we also expect to see Wear OS smartwatches launch alongside the foldables.

There will be a Fan Edition (FE) for the Galaxy S21 as well and it will reportedly break cover in Q4. There will be a handful of Galaxy M phones too but no Note this year.

However, keep in mind that this is only speculation and there is no official word on any of these devices.
