The investment model is confusing for many as the initial plan of the city that was first drafted in 2011 had estimated a cost of Rs. 10 billion while the present-day valuation has doubled it to Rs. 20 billion. Either way, the government is set to expedite large-scale measures to complete the project.
With the establishment of the Safe City Project, Karachi will be positioned to become one of the ‘safer cities’ in the world. Additionally, the SCA has estimated that the entire project will be completed within three years.
