CM Khan also stressed the availability of first aid in the health sector in the remote areas by making the inactive civil dispensaries functional and hiring required staff.

Last week, the KP government had announced to cover coronavirus treatments under Sehat Card. The decision was taken amid a rising number of UK-variant cases in the province.

Among other decisions, the cabinet also decided to announce a lucrative Ramadan Package for the poor people. Under the decision, Bangash said that the cabinet decided to provide a subsidy of Rs. 20.8 billion on wheat to ensure the provision of flour (Aata) to the people on government’s subsidized rates during Ramadan.
