KP Launches Mustahiq Mobile App for Zakat Distribution

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched a mobile application that allows users to distribute Zakat funds to the marginalized groups of society efficiently and transparently.

Named “Mustahiq,” the application not only allows users to explore information on different Zakat schemes, programs, and services in English, Urdu, and Pashto languages but also provides them with direct access to focal persons in charge of Zakat programs at the district level.

KP’s Minister for Zakat and Ushr, Anwar Zeb Khan, formally launched the Mustahiq application in an official ceremony that was held at the provincial Zakat and Social Welfare Department last week.

He added the Mustahiq application will also allow KP’s Zakat and Social Welfare Department to go paperless because digital copies of forms of all Zakat schemes, programs, and services are available in this application.

Mustahiq application is available on Google Play.
