In a CCTV footage recorded in the Defence Area of Karachi, two men were spotted stealing some expensive parts of a car parked out on the side of a road. What is more shocking is that the perpetrators managed to steal the parts in under two minutes.
The CCTV footage shows the two thieves arriving on their motorbike and stop alongside a Toyota Aqua parked on the side of a narrow street. One of the thieves gets off the bike and opens the driver’s side door with a tool of some sort. As soon as the door opens, he quickly gets to work.

The thief begins stripping the interior components of the car and puts them in a green bag. Once the items are in the bag, the thieves quickly clean up the scene and disappear in no time.

The whole activity took place within a minute and 13 seconds, according to the police report. What makes the matter even worse is that the theft was done in broad daylight, with the thieves not even bothering to conceal their identity as if they didn’t care.
This serves as proof that the authorities in the city are not performing their duties properly. The reports of such incidents in Karachi are made public daily, yet the law enforcement agencies remain silent in the face of such developments.
As per the report from the police, the thieves took a single panel worth Rs. 60,000 from the car. The authorities have ensured that they are on the lookout for the perpetrators and will bring them to justice soon.
