Teachers Can Now Avail Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccination Facility

National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to grant walk-in COVID-19 vaccination facility to teachers.

In an official statement, NCOC stated the decision has been taken to ensure a safe environment for education and conduct of exams countrywide.

According to details, the walk-in vaccination facility will be available across the country with immediate effect and teachers can go to their nearest vaccination centers to receive the Coronavirus vaccine.

However, teachers will still be required to provide an original CNIC, stamped letter from the head of Institution/Teachers’ ID Card to the healthcare staff before getting vaccinated at the COVID Vaccination Centers all over the country.

Earlier this week, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) had ordered to vaccinate all teaching and non-teaching staff members against Coronavirus by 5 June.

In response, Federal Government Teachers Association (FGTA) had demanded that teachers should be granted the facility of walk-in COVID-19 vaccination on the basis of service cards.
