The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have announced that people who have received two doses of the coronavirus vaccine do not need a vaccine booster.
A joint statement issued by the CDC and the FDA detailed that those who have received both doses of the vaccine do not currently need to receive any booster shots.

The statement further mentioned that data is being collected to determine if booster shots should be used and that the public will be informed of any new developments.
It also contained the declaration: “We are prepared for booster doses if and when the science demonstrates that they are needed”.
