Oppo Watch 2 Released With a Better Chip and More Battery Life

The Oppo Watch has been updated for 2021 with better hardware but the same design as before. You will now get better performance thanks to the updated chip and better battery life thanks to its optimization.

The Oppo Watch 2 is an Apple Watch lookalike just as before, but with a 1.75-inch curved AMOLED display. This is a 60Hz panel with 326 PPI pixel density and two buttons on the side for quick controls.

It is rated for 5 ATM water resistance and has built-in GPS.

It is loaded with health and fitness monitoring features such as 24-hour heart rate tracking and SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring. There is also sleep tracking, stress monitoring, over 100 sports modes, and more.

The Chinese version of the Oppo Watch 2 boots Color OS but the international variant settles for Google Wear.

The watch comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes, both of which have optional eSIM connectivity. There is a Bluetooth-only version as well but that is limited to the smaller watch.

Oppo Watch 2 can last up to 4 days but can go up to 16 days with the power save mode. Thanks to Oppo’s VOOC 2.0 fast charging, the watch can last an entire day with just 10 minutes of charge.

The Oppo Watch 2 has been launched in China for $200, but the bigger model with eSIM connectivity costs $310.

There is no word on an international release yet.
