Pakistan Received $1.87 Billion Through RDA in 11 Months

Pakistan has received $1.87 billion through Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) by the end of July 2021, according to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan.

According to the data, the country received $307 million in July compared to $310 million in June.

According to a report by Arif Habib Ltd, 199,747 RDAs were opened until the end of July. The monthly inflows throw RDA stood at $307 million. The amount of funds has consistently increased since the launch of RDAs in September, along with the monthly inflows.

May 2021 recorded the highest number of accounts opened in one month, as 31,137 accounts were opened in May. Likewise, June 2021 recorded the highest amount of inflows at $310 million. In July 2021, the inflows were only slightly lower than June, at $307 million.
