Following the harassment incident that took place at Minar-e-Pakistan, the Punjab Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) imposed a ban on the entry of TikTokers in all public parks on Sunday, media reports said.
According to a statement issued by PHA, all Tiktokers must seek permission from the concerned PHA’s for entrance in parks.

However, according to a tweet by Focal Person (Digital Media) to CM Punjab, Azhar Mashwani, the Punjab government has taken no such decision to ban the entry of TikTokers in public parks.
Last month, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) blocked access to TikTok, for its failure to take down “inappropriate content”.
However, many young Tiktokers in Pakistan are still using the popular video-sharing platform using VPNs.
