Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra Battery Specs Leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra will have almost the same batteries as the S21 series. This was revealed through a 3C certification listing which showed two battery cells with Samsung model numbers, particularly for S22+ and S22 Ultra.

According to the listing, the Galaxy S22+ should have a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh, which is almost the same as the S21+ at 4,800 mAh. The S22 Ultra, on the other hand, will have the same 5,000 mAh capacity as the S21 Ultra.

These leaked battery numbers are almost a perfect match to Ice Universe’s report from a few weeks ago.

The listing does not show anything for the vanilla S22, but Ice Universe’s leak showed a 3,800 mAh cell, which is a small downgrade from the S21’s 4,000 mAh battery.

An older leak from tipster Tron hinted that Samsung is working on 65W fast charging for the S22 series. The company has never gone above 45W and even that is only seen on the S21 Ultra while others models stay at 25W.

If Samsung does introduce 65W fast charging, then the EP-TA865 is probably the adapter for the job. It can output 20V at 3.25A, but it supports older and slower charging devices as well.
