The government of Balochistan is planning to give metropolitan status to all major cities of the province after which urban development will be reduced and other civic issues would be resolved at the local level.
Balochistan Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Alyani, expressed these views while meeting a delegation of Balochistan Awami Party Khuzdar at Commissioner House Khuzdar.
Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Babar Musakhel, Provincial Minister, Sardar Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani, Commissioner Kalat Division, Bashir Ahmad Khan Baazi, Deputy Commissioners Khuzdar, Major (retd) Bashir Ahmed Barich, SSP Khuzdar, Arbab Amjad Kasi, were also present on this occasion.
Meanwhile, Sardar Buland Khan, Mir Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Younis, Akram Baloch, Mir Irfan, Mir Ayazullah Bajwa met the CM and briefed him about the overall issues faced by Khuzdar.
The Chief Minister informed them that rehabilitation centers were being established to make drug addicts useful members of society.
Besides, he said that the Basima highway is being constructed that will facilitate the movement of people and boost trade from Khuzdar.
