The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, highlighted Pakistan’s 10 billion trees project in his speech at the United Nations on Wednesday.

PTI government’s tree plantation project has been appreciated globally as a necessary initiative to minimize environmental losses. The UK premier said that his counterpart’s example should be followed, and emphasized humanity’s need to grow up to tackle climate change.
“I invite everybody to follow the example of Imran Khan of Pakistan who has pledged to plant 10 billion trees,” he said.
PM Johnson also warned that it is now or never for the world to meets its target of limiting the rise in global temperature to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
