PTV is Finally Earning a Massive Profit This Year: Ch. Fawad Hussain

The federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has declared that PTV is making a profit of Rs. 1.3 billion this year after a long deficit.

“We lost Rs. 300 million due to the postponement of the New Zealand and England cricket teams’ tours to Pakistan,” he revealed in a tweet today.

He is also hopeful that PTV will break records next year, and praised its management and workers for their performance.

Minister Hussain recently stated that the cinemas will reopen in various cities, including Quetta, Peshawar, Skardu, Gilgit, Mirpur, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Islamabad, and Muzaffarabad.

He said that he is looking forward to Lahore and Karachi accelerating their vaccination drives so that their cinemas may be reopened within the next 10 days.
