For the first time in history, the federal government has decided to broadcast the Friday sermon live from the President House’s mosque.
This was announced by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, on Friday.
“Friday Sermon live from the Presidency,” Chaudhry wrote on Twitter.

Adil Ansari, who is a consultant at the Presidency, said on Twitter that the sermon will start at 1:00 pm local and time.

“An important step towards the state of Madinah. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, Friday Sermon will be live from the Jamiah [mosque] of the Presidency today at 1:00 p.m. It will be broadcast on PTV News and PTV Home,” he added.
