Black Shark 4S Shows Up in Official Poster With Gaming Aesthetics

Xiaomi is updating its gaming phone lineup with the Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro. The base model Black Shark 4S has just shown up in an official poster with a slight design update over the original.

Black Shark 4S has the same horizontal camera setup with a hexagonal design as before, and it’s home to a triple camera setup. We can also see the retractable shoulder buttons at the corners.

The gamer aesthetics on the rear panel have changed up with more lines than before. Xiaomi has reportedly achieved this using nanolithography. There is now a Black Shark logo on the rear and there is a green LED right below the main camera. The poster also confirms the two color options shown in the image.

According to rumors, the Black Shark 4S will sport the Snapdragon 888+ SoC, but other than that, it will mostly be the same as the original Black Shark 4.

This means we can expect to see a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. Battery capacity could be 4,500 mAh with a whopping 120W fast charging. The main camera setup will likely include a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a 5MP macro camera.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 4S will go official on October 13 in China.
