Students From Karachi Develop Revolutionary Incubator

A team of four students from Karachi has developed a cheap and modern incubator, aimed at reducing the infant mortality rate in Pakistan.

According to details, Syed Fatima Ejaz, Mohammad Ahsan Raza, Mirza Sameer Ahmed, and Aziz Zakir from the Electrical Department of the Usman Institute of Technology built the prototype incubator under the supervision of their teachers, Engineer Sana Sohail and Engineer Atif Farid.

The incubator is easily transportable and with commercial development it will significantly reduce infant mortality rates. It is also an important development in the field of childcare in Pakistan due to its low cost and unique features.

Real-time monitoring of the child in the incubator can be done through the mobile application Neox Care that can be controlled via a mobile phone as well.
