Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar has announced a reduction in prices of petroleum products to pass on the benefit of decreasing crude rates in the international market.
The price of petrol has been slashed by Rs. 12.63 per liter while the price of high-speed diesel has been decreased by Rs. 12.13 per liter.
Addressing the press conference, the Finance Minister also announced an extension in the income return filing date till October 31.
The new price of petrol will be Rs. 224.80 per liter while the price of high-speed diesel will be Rs. 235.30 per liter. The price of kerosene oil has also been slashed by Rs. 10.19 while the price of light-diesel oil has been decreased by Rs. 10.78. The new prices will come into effect from midnight.
