During the recent unveiling of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, Google placed a significant emphasis on the AI capabilities of these devices. However, a fresh rumor suggests that Samsung is poised to surpass Google in the realm of AI intelligence.
According to this unverified report, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are set to claim the title of “the smartest AI phones ever,” outshining even the AI features of the Pixel lineup.
The upcoming S24 series is rumored to offer features reminiscent of ChatGPT and Google’s Bard, enabling content and story creation based on provided keywords. Samsung has also introduced additional AI enhancements, such as text-to-image Generative AI, previously discussed during the Exynos 2400 chipset announcement, which will power the S24 series in select markets. AI improvements extend to speech-to-text functionality as well.
Surprisingly, the source of this report suggests that Bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant, is on track to engage in “more humanlike and smarter conversations.” It appears that Bixby is still kicking and is gearing up for a more significant role in the future by incorporating AI technologies.
The S24 family is currently rumored to be officially unveiled in January during a Galaxy Unpacked event.
Rumor has it that Samsung will also introduce its first smart wearable ring at this event called the Galaxy Ring. The Korean phone maker is expected to put great emphasis on this wearable at this event, with some reports saying that it would even steal the show from the Galaxy S24 lineup.
