The Punjab school education department has formed a partnership with Tech Valley UK and Canada to provide Chromebooks to 200 schools across the province.
The agreement, signed by Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, is designed to enhance digital learning and IT skills among students and teachers.
In addition to supplying Chromebooks, Tech Valley will offer IT training to 10,000 students and teachers in Punjab, with support from Google for Education. This collaboration is a major step towards achieving the vision of a “Digital Punjab.”
Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat highlighted the importance of this agreement, stating that it will allow students to explore IT alongside traditional science and arts subjects for their matriculation and intermediate studies.
This initiative aims to improve the province’s educational landscape by equipping students with crucial digital skills for the future.
