Android phones are known to be less secure than iPhones, but this is not true for every single Android out there. Google’s latest Pixel phones are much harder to breach compared to other Androids, and even some iPhones.
This news comes from a leaked company document, which shows how easy it is to break into different smartphones. The company in question is Cellebrite, a well-known mobile forensics company that specializes in breaching phones to discover vulnerabilities.
In the leaked document, it is shown that newer Google Pixel phones (6 to 8) cannot be brute force breached, but only if the phone is turned off.
The document was leaked around the time Android 14 was released, the operating system version used in these Pixel models, offering robust security features. Released in October 2023, Android 14 significantly strengthens data protection compared to earlier versions.
Android 14 is No Savior
However, it seems that simply having the latest Android version is not everything you need, as the same reports highlight how other Android OEMs are still breachable with the latest software versions.
The document shows that Samsung, Xiaomi, Sony, Motorola, OnePlus, and many more Android OEMs are still open to data breach attacks, even on the latest OS versions. Take a look at the screenshot below.
iPhones Still More Secure
In the end, it still holds true that iPhones are indeed more secure than Androids, as the documents confirm that Cellebrite was not able to breach a large number of modern iPhones, including the iPhone 15 series running the latest iOS 17.4 OS version.

open source aur closed source me faraq hota hai
aqal k andho
open source ka matlab ye nahi hota koi bhi hack kar le. Brute force simply means flaw in device level data encryption.
