Telenor Microfinance Bank Appoints Jahanzeb Khan As CEO

Telenor Microfinance Bank has appointed Jahanzeb Khan as the new chief executive officer (CEO).

Jahanzeb Khan, formerly the CEO of FINCA Microfinance Bank Limited in Pakistan, has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Telenor Microfinance Bank Limited.

With over two decades of leadership experience in the financial services sector, Khan is acknowledged as an authority on digital and emerging technologies. He is particularly known for his expertise in payments and digital banking, having spearheaded transformative initiatives for some of the world’s largest and most innovative companies.

Khan has previously worked at Deloitte Consulting (Senior Consultant – Financial Services), JPMorgan Chase & Co (Executive Director, Consumer & Community Banking – Digital Emerging Payments), and Telenor Microfinance Bank/Easypaisa (Group Executive Director-Chief Product Officer/Strategy and Transformation).

He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from the University of Delaware, besides attending programs at Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) and Harvard Business School.
