The incompetence of the LDA’s Estate Management Private Housing Schemes has been exposed. A total of 83 illegal schemes have emerged in the master plan’s approved residential zone, and 74 illegal schemes have been developed in the agricultural zone. This brings the total number of illegal schemes to 157.
A report prepared on the orders of the Chief Minister of Punjab has unveiled the deficiencies of the LDA Estate Management. The LDA Metropolitan Planning Wing took two weeks to compile a comprehensive report.
