Police Station in Lahore Starts Electricity Theft After Disconnection for Not Paying Bill

Police officers began stealing electricity after the connection at Shad Bagh police station in Lahore was disconnected due to non-payment of the bill, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to the report, the electricity at Shad Bagh police station was cut off at 6 pm. In response, the police officials restored power under the cover of darkness by illegally hooking a wire to the main supply line of LESCO passing through the police station.

Regarding this incident, LESCO officials remarked that it is ironic and problematic when those responsible for filing cases against electricity theft are the ones committing the theft. They questioned where such complaints should be filed.
